Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) is constantly buzzing with hotspots that can easily confuse you with its many dining options. Tucked away in One BKC, Amelia stands out as a vibrant entrant to this neighborhood’s food scene, serving modern European fare that ranges from light poached pear salads to comforting fish and chips, pepperoni pizzas, and more. Amelia is the ideal choice if you're in the mood for a quick lunch or a relaxed post-work meal.

The Setting
At Amelia, you’ll instantly be greeted by a sophisticated setting that combines modern European design with an eclectic flair. In a unique confluence of design and art – think curated artworks and bold paintings that adorn the well-lit, upscale space – create an inviting ambiance that favors creativity and connection.

What We Sampled
Food lovers will be in for a real treat as the menu is a delightful parade of small plates and pizzas, designed to pair easily with your drinks of choice. The Amelia’s Pepperoni Pizza was a fiery indulgence, featuring spicy pork pepperoni and melting mozzarella atop a tangy Napoleon sauce. Equally tempting were the Jumbo Harissa Prawns—succulent prawns marinated in bold harissa, drizzled with chili garlic butter, and served alongside creamy mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables. The Chicken Croquettes offer a crispy, savory bite that’s just as addictive.

For the main event, the Hearty and Wholesome Chicken Parmigiana is an absolute must. Imagine golden, crisp-coated chicken nestled on a spicy bed of comforting Arrabbiata pasta. Meat lovers, however, will be swept away by the Lamb Chops—hands down some of the finest we’ve tasted in the city. These juicy, char-grilled New Zealand chops are served with velvety butternut squash purée, fondant potatoes, and an aromatic jus that ties it all together.

While the food is undeniably exceptional, the drinks at Amelia will have us coming back for more. The Aperol Spritz was our favorite. It was perfectly balanced—refreshing and light, it's the kind of drink you’ll want to sip endless rounds of. For those who prefer their cocktails with a twist, the Elderflower Spritz was a delightful, floral concoction worth trying. Meanwhile, the EST paid homage to Europe's Aperitivo tradition, artfully blending liqueurs from across the continent to create a perfectly balanced symphony of sweet, bitter, and smoky notes.

The Final Verdict
A charming, flavorful, and indulgent dining experience awaits you at Amelia, giving it a must-visit spot on your culinary list. We ended our meal on the sweetest note with the Pistachio Decadence—a silky pistachio praline paired with a tangy raspberry sorbet. It’s not something we would have normally chosen, but after our server's persistent recommendation, it turned out to be an unforgettable treat!
