Rice Rotis (Tandlachi Bhakri)
Tandlachi Bhakri or Rice Rotis are very popular in the Konkan coast and goes very well with any fish, chicken or mutton curry!

- Boil 1 cup water
- Add salt to taste
- Add 1 tsp oil
- Once the water has boiled, switch off the gas
- TIP: For 1 cup water, use 1 cup rice flour
- Add 1 cup flour to the water
- Mix well
- TIP: Cool the mixture for a couple of minutes
- Once the mixture has cooled, knead it into a dough
- While the dough is being formed, heat the griddle
- TIP: To ensure the dough is smooth, add little water and oil
- Once the dough is formed, make dough balls
- Roll the dough into a thin chapati
- Place it on the hot griddle
- TIP: Sprinkle water on the bhakri (roti) to ensure it remains soft
- Let it puff on both sides and flip it on the flame as well
- Ready to serve
