These sweet, crispy fritters are easy to make and are usually eaten during Diwali festivities in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

1. In a heated pan, add in ghee, water, sugar and salt.
2. Let this boil until the sugar dissolves.
3. Take it off the heat and let it cool. Once cooled, mix in flour and knead to form a dough.
4. Roll the dough and cut it into the desired shape.
5. Deep fry and serve.
