- In a bowl, add butter
- Add grated cheese
- Add 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper powder
- Add 1/2 tsp crushed mustard
- Add salt to taste
- Mix well
- TIP: You can also make this mixture with fresh cream, malai, or hung curd
- TIP: When making these sandwiches, alternate the bread slices to get the perfect checkered look
- On the first slice of white bread, apply the butter mixture
- Place a slice of brown bread and apply the butter mixture again
- Repeat the process till all 6 layers are made
- Now, cut the sandwich into 3 parts
- On each part apply the butter mixture again
- Repeat the process
- TIP: Applying the butter mixture ensures that the sandwich is well bound
- Cut the sandwich into 3 parts again
- Ready to serve
