What happens when Benares comes calling in Mumbai?
Chef Atul Kochhar's Michelin star London restaurant by the same name is travelling all the way to India in the form of a series of delicious pop-ups this month.
London-based Indian chef Atul Kochhar will be in Mumbai to host an exclusive meal for 'one-night only' at his restaurant, NRI BKC aka Not Really Indian on April 13. The menu will be a combination of his signature dishes from his award-winning restaurant, Benares. The 6-course menu will be paired with wine and feature the chef's favourite dishes from the menu.
Chef Kochhar will be travelling to the Garden City of Bangalore before Mumbai on April 8 to host a 3-day pop-up at the Ritz Carlton and serve his favourites from NRI and Lima BKC as well as Benares. There's Bunny Chow from NRI and Pan Seared Scallop with Jhal Muri, Grape and Ginger Dressing from the Benares menu. Need we say more?
