Living in a village-like setting can be a truly rejuvenating experience, especially when it's a boutique resort like Tooth Mountain Farms. Nestled amidst the serene surroundings of mountains and trees, this resort is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to escape the norm of daily life. The beauty of this place lies in its simplicity, with cosy cottages and tents that offer an authentic rural experience. The air is crisp and fresh, the views are breathtaking, and the sounds of nature are a symphony for the senses. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll through the fields or go on a trek to explore the nearby hills, there is something for everyone here. The resort also offers a range of activities like organic farming, birdwatching, and star-gazing that help you connect with nature and disconnect from the digital world.
When you visit Tooth Farms, you'll be surrounded by 50 acres of lush greenery in Karjat, nestled in the Western Ghats of India. Here you'll experience a holistic and sustainable approach to nurturing your body, mind and soul while respecting and upholding the natural laws of nature. You'll discover a love for all things farm-made, as they house an entire range of niche products crafted by tribal women. And coming to more important things, you can indulge in delicious pickles, spreads, jams, and seasonal veggies, or try dairy products and traditional Indian sweets. Whatever you fancy, they have it all!
If you are going to head over for a tranquil getaway then you should definitely know about the awesome rooms at the Farm. They've got five of them and each is named after a tree that grows on the property. The room I spent my time in, was called Palash. The decor is a perfect blend of rustic and contemporary, giving off a very chic and modern yet a rural and comforting Indian vibe. One of my favourite parts of the room was the porch. It was the perfect spot to kick back and relax, surrounded by the shade of gigantic trees. I mean, could it get any more picturesque than that? Each room has its own unique style, too. The Amaltas room was rustic and earthy, while the Parijat was warm and inviting. The Ashmantak was minimalist, and Basant Rani was the epitome of simplicity.
They have an ultimate spot for all your cravings, The Farm Café. This eatery is an open-air paradise with some of the best food I’ve ever had. The wood-fired pizzas here are to die for, with the perfect balance of toppings and that crispy crust that you just can't get enough of. And don't even get me started on the drinks. The fresh fruit juices were bursting with flavour, and the cappuccinos had just the right amount of frothy goodness. They've got a sinful Molten Lava Cake, which honestly is exactly what dreams are made of. They've also got Tiramisu that will make you forget about all your worries. It's creamy, dreamy and downright delicious. The Farm Café is the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon with friends or a romantic evening with your special someone. And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the resident canine around. If reading to relax is your thing, their bookshelf has a variety of genres that you can choose from and then later settle on a hammock to flip through.
If a fun and adventurous vacation is what you are looking for, the Tooth Mountain Farm has got your back. There are so many activities to keep you busy during your stay, you won't even know where to start. First up, they’ve got a morning trek to Tooth Mountain (which you can opt for at an extra cost). I definitely think this is the perfect way to start your day, with breathtaking views and fresh mountain air. And if you're feeling extra adventurous, why not cycle to Hatnoli Village? It's a great way to explore the area and get some exercise at the same time. You can also pay a visit to the Bird Pen and Cow Shed, where you'll get to meet some friendly farm animals. And if you're interested in gardening, why not take their nursery tour and learn all about the different plants and flowers on the property?
For those of you looking for something a bit more indoors, we've got you covered too. You can enjoy a game of indoor sports or take a nature trail around the farm. If you're a shopaholic, you won't want to miss a visit to the Peacock Life Warehouse. Trust me, it's a shopper's paradise, especially for someone who loves vintage articles! Last but not least, we can't forget about our friends at the farm. Be sure to pay a visit to Badal and Shani, the resident horses. Should you be an animal lover, these super friendly horses are just a delight to be around.
So there you have it. The Tooth Mountain Farm has something for everyone, whether you're looking to relax or go on an adventure.
What are you waiting for? Book your stay now and get ready for some serious fun!
