Celebrated in August, the Parsi New Year, known as Navroz, is a 3,000-year-old tradition founded by Prophet Zoroaster. This Zoroastrian holiday originated in Persia (now Iran) and was brought to India by followers who migrated to Gujarat in the 7th century during the Islamic invasion.
