Seasoned Rice

Method

  • Heat 3-4 tbsp oil
  • Once the oil is heated, add the pounded garlic, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, 7-8 curry leaves, little coriander, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder and 2 cups of finely chopped onions
  • Add salt according to taste
  • Mix well, ensure the onions have cooked
  • Add the cooked rice to the masala
  • Mix everything well together
  • Garnish with some coriander
  • Ready to serve
