Tomato Chutney
Compliment your Indian meal with tomato chutney! You can also use it in a sandwich, or in a roti-roll or with chips and nachos- the chutney makes your snack tangy, interesting and delicious!

- Heat a thick bottomed kadai/ deep frying pan
- Add 2-3 tbsp of vegetable oil
- Add ginger
- Add green chillies
- Add onions
- Sauté the ingredients until onions turn translucent
- Add tomatoes
- Add 1 tsp of coriander powder
- Add ½ tsp of salt and half of the coriander leaves
- Cover the kadai with a lid and let the ingredients cook 5-7 mins
- Use a hand blender to smoothen the Tomato Chutney
- Blend the mixture for 3-5 mins until its consistency changes to that of a thick sauce
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
