Mutton Kheema in Punjabi - Kheema Masala Recipe

Mutton Kheema/ Kheema Pav by Seema in Punjabi is a popular meat dish made using mutton mince, green peas and loaded with lots of flavors. Serve it with Phulkas or Pakki Mutton Biryani for a delicious weekend meal.

Put 2 tablespoon ghee in the cooker

Add cinnamon, bay leaves , cloves, black pepper, cardamom, cardamom powder, chopped onion and saute until it turns golden brown.

Add 1 tablespoon salt, ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree and mix it again.

Add in all the dry masala (salt as required, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder) Add 250 gram green peas -Sprinkle few coriander leaves.

Add the mutton kheema, green chili, 1 bowl water and mix it all together.

Cook until 2 whistles.

Once the mutton is done and is kept for resting, add 1/2 tablespoon of garam masala and coriander leaves.

Mutton kheema is ready to serve.
