- In a large bowl put the boiled chana
- Add the diced potato
- Add the finely chopped onion
- Add the finely chopped ginger
- Add the finely chopped green chillies
- Add ½ tsp of jeera (cumin seed powder)
- Add ½ tsp of red chilli powder
- Add 1 tsp of chat masala powder
- And salt to taste
- TIP: Add the tomatoes last as they tend to get watery
- Add the diced tomato
- Add few coriander leaves
- Add a juice of ½ a lemon
- Mix well so that all the spices are well blended
- Decorate with capsicum and tomato slices and coriander leaves
- Serve at room temperature or cold
