Procedure:
- Heat oil in a deep pan
- Add the jeera seeds (cumin seeds)
- Add the cloves
- Add the black pepper
- Add the cinnamon
- Add the aniseed
- Open and add the green cardamoms
- Add the bay leaves
- Stir well
- Add the green chillies
- Add the onions
- Sauté the onins until golden brown
- Add little salt
- TIP: Adding the salt make the onions sweat faster
- Add the peas
- Add the remaining salt
- Add the coriander leaves
- Mix well
- Add 2 cups of water
- Stir well
- Let the water come to a boil
- Add the soaked rice
- Stir well
- Cover the pan with a lid and let the rice cook for 15-20 mins
- Add a few coriander leaves
- Read to serve
