- De-skin and de-seed the roasted bell pepper
- Get it chopped
- Transfer the chopped bell peppers into a grinding bowl
- Add the basil leaves
- Add the olives
- Add the capers
- Add the garlic
- Add salt
- Add pepper
- Smash all the ingredients together
- Tip: Instead of blending manually, you can also use an electric blender
- The tapenade can be served on toast,with salad or used as a dip
- You can also store the tapenade for a week and use it later on
- Once you have finished blending the ingredients, check for seasoning
- Ready to serve
- Tip: Top it up with some olive oil
