Moongi ki dal (Yellow Lentils)

Procedure:
- Wash the dal
- Add 1 cup of water to it
- Transfer it to a pressure cooker
- Add the onions next
- Add the tomatoes
- Add the green chillies
- Add some salt
- Add the turmeric powder
- Stir the ingredients well
- Shut the cooker and wait for 2 whistles
- Keep the pressure cooker aside and start making the tadka for the dal
- Heat ghee in a pan
- Once the ghee is hot, add the rye
- Add some jeera
- Add the curry leaves
- Add garlic
- Add the red chillies
- Stir well
- Once the garlic turn golden brown in colour, add the tadka to the dal
- Stir well
- Add some water if the dal appears too thick
- Stir again
- Give the dal one quick boil
- Garnish with some coriander leaves
- Ready to serve!
