Thanksgiving is here, and if there is anything that we are thankful for, is our spices. In India, we love our masalas and keeping that in mind, this mocktail is perfect. Pair it with your favourite dish and relish. Psst...guess the secret ingredient!
What you will need:
1 cup brewed tea
2 tbsp sugar syrup
1/2 cinnamon stick
4-5 cardamoms
4-5 cloves
1/2 cup crushed ice
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Method:
1. Start by adding the tea and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker/ blender.
2. Crush the cinnamon, cardamom and clove into a fine powder and mix it into the tea concoction.
3. Add in crushed ice, turmeric, ginger powder and lemon juice to the mix and shake or blend well.
4. Strain and pour it into a glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick, some mint leaves and a slice of lemon.
