Sunday brunchin' just got a whole lot better!
Drop by at Desi Deli, Andheri on a lazy Sunday afternoon to brunch on some special treats by former veejay and celebrity chef Maria Goretti.
Along with their signature hot dogs and deli specials, you can now chomp on some specially curated recipes by the pretty cookbook author herself.
Start off with a piping hot Mixed Vegetable Soup that’s made with roasted mutton stock, barley and a good amount of pepper. Light on the palate and subtly flavourful, this makes for a great start without filling you too much.
Move on to a spicy and tangy Sri Lankan Aubergine Moju loaded with mustard seeds and curry leaves, served in a crispy bread pocket. The dish hits all the right spots with each bite. You can also try the classic Pork Vindaloo on the menu, which is nothing but tender, well-marinated meat ready to be moped up with a crispy bread pocket and a salad for the added crunch.
If you ain’t full yet, go for the gluten-free Orange Chocolate Cake - a soft, spongy baked treat with a dark chocolatey goodness in the centre. Trust us, it guarantees guilt-free indulgence.
The Desi Delicious Table With Maria Goretti is on until March 12 at their Andheri outpost.
