A wholesome menu for a New Year Bash and a bucket full of memories, we are ready to bid 2022 a happy farewell
Hoping all my readers celebrated a joyful and cheery Christmas, we now head towards the last celebration of the year: the New Year Bash. Is it just me or has this year gone by in a blink of an eye? Because it feels like just yesterday we were gearing up for Veganuary and now soon we'll be back at it, belting out a host of healthy recipes. But before we get into all of that health and fitness 101 that will come into play on 1st January, shall we take it easy and indulge lavishly, one last time? For the sweet tooths out there, I definitely recommend the serradura, a Portuguese dessert that is super easy to make and easier still to scarf down. And for those who like something a little savoury to balance the flavours, do try out this homemade chicken wellington. Make sure you don't make just one, because you'll want more after you take a bite.
I am sure all of you have different plans for New Years, right from a dance party to snuggling into your blanket with a book. But if you haven't planned where or how to spend the new year's yet, this story about Westin, Powai will hopefully nudge you in the right direction. The fact that it caters to both party-people and solitude-seekers is what makes it just perfect. And if you plan to host your own New Year Bash, these 10 fire-cracker recipes will definitely come handy. Pair these small and large plates with a nice drink and you can happily sip your way into 2023, before you hit the gym. For inspiration, you can borrow from our 4-way new year mocktails. Add your own spin or a little spirit to turn it to a cocktail, I'll leave that decision to you.
2022 has been a year filled with change and opportunity for us and I sincerely hope that you've enjoyed yet another year full of flavour and savour just as much as we did. From trying our hands on Desi renditions of viral recipes at IFN to our sister brands, Tastemade India releasing a host of shows in collaboration with Pinterest and Start2Bake in all its glory with their specially curated classes to help you be the baker you've dreamed of, this year has come full circle for us and I'd like to thank each one of you for extending your support. But just because it's the end of the year, it's not goodbye. Come 2023 you most certainly can expect double the fun, flavour and hard work to bring to you just the content you'd like to see. But for now, I'll wish you a very happy and prosperous new year. I'll see you once again, very soon.
P.S. Buckle up, because 2023 is going to be one hell of a ride.
