Chef Tarun describes Taupe's philosophy as one of gourmet casualness, where flavours speak for themselves without pretense. Each dish at Taupe is meticulously crafted to create a symphony of tastes and textures. We started off our meal with Cheeman Masala, prawns served with a set dosa. We also tried the Taupe Mutton Seekh, Tawa Meat, Malvani Chicken Sukka and Yam Haleem.

What worked
What stood out through are meal was the taste, texture and bold flavours. What we also enjoyed was the variety of breads that was served with each of the main complimenting the dish perfectly so. The tawa meat was aromatic, tender, succulent and especially stood out.
