Spinach Dumplings

  1. For the spinach dumplings:
  2. Finely chopped spinach: 3 cups
  3. Crumbled paneer: 3/4 cup
  4. Nutmeg/jaiphal powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Green chillies (optional): 1/4 teaspoon
  6. All purpose flour: 2 tablespoons
  7. Baking powder: A pinch
  8. Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. For the tomato sauce
  11. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  12. Carrot puree: 1 cup
  13. Chilli flakes (optional): 1/4 teaspoon
  14. Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
  15. Finely chopped garlic: 1 tablespoon
  16. Finely chopped onions: 1/4 cup
  17. Oil: 2 tablespoons
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Cheese: 2 tablespoons (30 grams)

Method of Preparation

  1. To make the spinach dumplings:
  2. Steam the spinach for 5 minutes and squeeze out the water
  3. Take a mixing bowl, add spinach, paneer, nutmeg powder, chillies, pepper, salt, all-purpose flour, baking powder. Mix it well
  4. Shape them into 10-15 small balls
  5. Steam for 5 minutes and keep aside.
  6. For the tomato sauce:
  7. Heat oil in a pan, add the garlic and onions and saute for a couple of minutes
  8. Add the Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup, carrot puree, pepper, chilli flakes, salt and cheese Mix well and keep aside
  9. Serve the steamed dumplings with tomato sauce.
