Soya Kathi Roll

Finding new twists for your regular tiffin recipes seems like a challenging task. But, we’re making it easy with this Soya Kathi Roll packed with protein and veggies. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup transforms this dish with a fun, tangy flavour, making it an irresistible, finger-licking roll.

Ingredients

  1. Whole wheat parathas: 2
  2. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  3. Finely chopped coriander: 1 teaspoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Julienned capsicum (small): 1
  6. Sliced onion (small): 1
  7. Pav bhaji masala: 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Lemon juice: ½ teaspoon
  9. Chilli powder: ½ teaspoon
  10. Sugar: ½ teaspoon
  11. Roasted cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
  13. Water: 1 tablespoon
  14. Mini soya chunks, rehydrated in hot water and drained: ½ cup
  15. Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  16. Garam masala: 1/4 teaspoon

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add onions, capsicum and saute until translucent
  2. Add all the spice powders and Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup to it
  3. Add the drained soya chunks and salt and mix well. Add a little more water if required to cook the soya through
  4. Add the sugar and stir in the fresh coriander leaves
  5. Switch off the flame and add lemon juice to the soya mixture
  6. Place the paratha on a flat surface and spoon the soya mixture down the middle (about 2 tablespoons). Roll up and secure with foil on one end to ensure there is no spillage while eating.
  7. Pack the tiffin with roasted chana and grapes.
