Potato Cheese balls in Tomato Tamarind Sauce

  1. Ingredients for cheese balls
  2. Boiled & mashed potatoes: 2 - 3
  3. Garam masala: 1 teaspoon
  4. Red chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
  5. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  6. Grated cheese: ½ cup
  7. Corn flour: 1 teaspoon
  8. Salt & pepper to taste
  9. Oil to shallow fry
  10. Ingredients for Sauce
  11. Chopped onion (small): 1
  12. Chopped carrots: 2 tablespoons
  13. Chopped mixed bell peppers: 3 tablespoons
  14. Garam masala: 1 teaspoon
  15. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 3 tablespoons
  16. Tamarind Paste: 1 tablespoon
  17. Water: ¼ cup

Method of Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add mashed potatoes, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and salt and pepper. Mix it well
  2. Add grated cheese, corn flour powder and Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup.
  3. Mix well and make balls out of the mixture
  4. Shallow fry the balls until golden brown
  5. For the sauce, heat oil and add onion to it. Saute until pink
  6. Add vegetables and dry spice powder and saute for two minutes
  7. Add Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup, water and tamarind paste. Mix it well
  8. Adjust the seasoning and switch off the stove
  9. Add the balls to the tamarind sauce and mix well
  10. The dish is ready to pack in the tiffin box.
