Mango Khantoli

Mango Khantoli is a super sweet treat for your children. With the indulgent flavour of Mango and Coconut, it’s truly drool-worthy! Kissan Mango Jam is the magical ingredient which makes the dish extremely appealing with its fruity aroma and taste.

Ingredients

  1. Rice rawa: 1 ½ cups
  2. Water: 2 ½ cups
  3. Freshly grated coconut: ¼ cup (20g)
  4. Ghee: 2 tablespoons
  5. Dry dates powder: 2 tablespoons
  6. Kissan Mango Jam: 1 ½ tablespoons
  7. Cardamom powder: A pinch
  8. Pistachio flakes to garnish

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and roast rice rawa until fragrant and light pink
  2. Bring the water almost to boiling point and keep it ready
  3. Pour in the boiled water into the mixture and mix it together avoiding any lumps
  4. Add dry dates powder and Kissan Mango Jam to the mixture and give it a quick mix
  5. When the rava absorbs almost all the liquid, add almost all the coconut (save a little for the garnish) and cardamom powder. Mix it well
  6. Put the cooked mixture in a lightly greased thali or baking tray. Sprinkle the reserved coconut and pistachio flakes and pat lightly to press them in
  7. Cool completely and cut into squares or diamonds
  8. Pack it in your child's tiffin box with sides of Khakra and grapes
