Chicken Empanadas

Chicken Empanadas is an amazing recipe and the best part is, even picky eaters will love them. They’re crispy and crunchy from the outside with a delicious stuffing on the inside. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup adds a delectable moistness and tangy tomato flavour to the dish which takes the tastiness up by several notches.

Ingredients

  1. Chicken mince: ½ cup
  2. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  3. Chopped onions: 2 tablespoons
  4. Chopped bell peppers: 2 tablespoons
  5. Chopped beans: 2 tablespoons
  6. Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
  7. Finely chopped garlic: 3
  8. Garam masala: 1 teaspoon
  9. Cinnamon powder: 1 teaspoon
  10. Chilli flakes: 1 teaspoon
  11. Red chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
  12. Dried oregano: 1 teaspoon
  13. Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
  14. Boiled and chopped egg: 1
  15. Puff pastry square
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Oil: 1 tablespoon
  18. Egg wash

Method of Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
  2. First, we need to prepare our stuffing
  3. Heat a pan and drizzle a little bit of oil over it
  4. Add chopped onions and saute till light golden. Add chopped vegetables and saute it for a few minutes
  5. Now add egg, dried spices and chicken mince. Season it with salt and let the chicken get cooked
  6. Add Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup to the mix
  7. After the chicken is cooked, take puff pastry squares and cut them in circles
  8. Place the chicken stuffing in the middle of it and close the edges with your hands
  9. Place in a baking dish and apply egg wash on them properly with help of a brush and bake for 10 - 15 minutes
  10. After they are golden brown on top, take them out of the oven and serve hot.
