Vegetable Jalfrezi

Vegetable Jalfrezi is a delicious side dish with a perfect blend of flavourful vegetables and spices. It tastes amazing when paired with rice or roti for your child’s tiffin. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup adds a nice flavour and a gravy consistency to the dish.

Ingredients

  1. Oil: 1 tablespoon
  2. Finely chopped onion(small): 1
  3. Tomato pureed: 1
  4. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons (25 grams)
  5. Low fat fresh cream/malai: 1/4 cup
  6. Chopped french beans: 2 tablespoons
  7. Chopped potatoes: 2 tablespoons
  8. Chopped carrots: 2 tablespoons
  9. Peas: 2 tablespoons
  10. Sweet corn: 2 tablespoons
  11. Cumin powder: ½ teaspoon
  12. Red chilli powder: ½ teaspoon
  13. Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
  14. Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat the oil and add chopped onions, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and saute.
  2. Add french beans, potatoes, carrots, peas and sweet corn and saute it for approximately 6-8 minutes,
  3. Add tomato puree and cook well. Mix the Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup and low fat cream. Stir it well.
  4. Cook for a few minutes till the mixture blends well. And garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Serve with rice or roti.
