Potato & Cheese Balls

Potato Cheese Balls are a lip smacking snack recipe and a yummy treat for your child’s tiffin. Loaded with cheese and potato, this recipe is an instant hit with kids of all ages. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup gives this dish a nice colour and delicious flavour and prevents it from drying up in the tiffin.

  1. Potatoes: 2 large boiled
  2. Shredded carrot: ¼ cup
  3. Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  5. Grated cheese: 20 grams
  6. Crumbled cottage cheese: 40 grams
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil as required
  9. Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Breadcrumbs to coat
  11. Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons

Method of Preparation

  1. For the stuffing - Mix the cottage cheese and grated cheese. Add shredded carrot, turmeric and pepper. Make balls.
  2. For the casing - Mash the potatoes, add Kissan Tomato Fresh Ketchup. Add cornstarch to firm the dough and salt to taste.
  3. Fill the cheese mix in the potato casing and cover with bread crumbs.
  4. Fry in hot oil or shallow fry till golden brown.
