Pancake Sandwich

When it comes to kids you can’t go wrong with pancakes, but Monika shows you how to make pancakes even more interesting with Kissan mixed fruit jam and some yummy fruits.

Ingredients

  1. Jowar: 1 cup
  2. Baking powder: 2 Teaspoon
  3. Milk: 1 cup
  4. Brown sugar: 1 Teaspoon
  5. Fruits of choice, sliced very thin: 1 Cup
  6. Oil: 1 Tablespoon
  7. Jam: 1/4 Cup or 10g
  8. Desiccated Coconut: 1/4 Cup

Method of Preparation

  1. Mix dry ingredients together and whisk
  2. Mix all wet ingredients together and whisk till blended
  3. Stir together the dry and wet ingredients till smooth
  4. Heat a pan and pour a ladle of pancake mixture. On top, pour a spoonful jam and sprinkle fruits. Add a little desiccated coconut. Spread a little batter on top to cover.
  5. Flip and cook till lightly brown on both sides
  6. Top with some more desiccated coconut if you wish and pack in tiffin with some nuts and fruits.
