Yes, it's time for your kids to indulge in a sweet Jam Mathri, an exciting tweak to the traditional mathri with Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam that will make these a real pleasure to bite into! We are replacing sugar with jaggery and using whole wheat flour instead of atta to make a dish rich in fiber and protein. Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam packs the flavour of 8 fruits in every bite for a fruity punch that your kids are sure to love.

Ingredients

  1. Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  2. Whole wheat flour: 1 cup
  3. Jaggery dissolved in water: ¼ cup
  4. Fennel seeds: 1 teaspoon
  5. Sesame seeds: 1 teaspoon
  6. Water as needed
  7. Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam: 3 tablespoons

Method of Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, fennel seeds, sesame seed and the jaggery water and knead into a firm dough.
  2. Divide the dough mixture into small portions and flatten each portion lightly between your palms.
  3. Add Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam to each portion.
  4. Now fold the sides of the mathri and close its edges. Shallow fry it until golden brown.
  5. Your Jam Mathris are ready to serve.

  7. Makhana and kiwi (or any fruit of your choice).
