Chicken Patty

Ingredients

  1. Finely chopped chicken breast: 1
  2. Finely chopped onion (small): 1
  3. Garlic: 1-2 cloves
  4. Boiled potatoes: 2
  5. Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  7. Cheese : 1 teaspoon or 5 gram (per burger)
  8. Red chilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Breadcrumbs: 1/4 cup
  12. All purpose flour: 2 tablespoon
  13. Baking soda: 1/4 teaspoon
  14. Oil: 1 tablespoon
  15. Water: 1/4 cup
  16. Whole wheat burger buns
  17. For cole slaw
  18. Finely shredded cabbage: 1/4 cup
  19. Finely shredded carrots: 1/4 cup
  20. Thinly sliced onions: 1 tablespoon
  21. Apple cider vinegar/ lime juice: 1 teaspoon
  22. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  23. Low fat mayonnaise/ sandwich spread: 2 tablespoons
  24. Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves: 1 teaspoon

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat oil, add the finely chopped onions, garlic, red chilli, turmeric powder, garam masala and saute.
  2. Add the shredded/finely chopped chicken pieces and cook it well.
  3. Add Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup, salt and chopped coriander leaves.
  4. Mash the boiled potatoes and add it to the chicken in a bowl. Mix well and make a fist sized patty.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the all purpose flour in water and add the baking soda for slurry.
  6. Dip the patty in the sludge and coat generously with breadcrumbs.
  7. Shallow fry the patty till golden brown.
  8. For coleslaw, take low fat mayonnaise, shredded cabbage, carrots and onions in a bowl.
  9. Add vinegar or lime juice and Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves. Place the patty in a burger bun and serve with coleslaw.
