Beetroot Kebabs

Kids can’t resist kebabs and our Beetroot Kebab recipe made with Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup is as healthy as it is delicious. Beetroot, potatoes and chickpeas make for a fibre rich filling with Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup adding a burst of flavour. Give the kebabs a lip-smacking taste with a sprinkle of chaat masala which will guarantee that you get back an empty tiffin after the school day.

Ingredients

  1. Beetroot (boiled and mashed): 1 cup
  2. Potatoes (boiled and mashed): 2
  3. Chickpeas (boiled and mashed): ¼ cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Chaat masala to taste
  6. Amchoor powder: 1 tablespoon
  7. Crushed plain rolled oats: ½ cup
  8. Ginger garlic paste: ½ teaspoon
  9. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  10. Oil: 2 tablespoons

Method of Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add beetroot, potatoes, chickpeas, salt, chaat masala, amchoor, rolled oats and ginger garlic paste. Mix well.
  2. Add Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup to the mixture and combine all the ingredients well.
  3. Apply oil on your palm and take a small portion of the mixture and shape into circular kebabs.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the beetroot kebabs until golden brown.
  5. Tiffin Siders: Mix dry fruits and papaya (or any fruit of your choice).
